The sensor uses Sony’s global shutter pixel technology called “Pregius”, the Sony Company also claimed that the device captures the moving image without any distortion. Sony IMX661 launched in the market
The new image sensor of the sensor was developed by the Sony Company and the aim of the company was on industrial equipment. The company made statements making the announcement of the launch.
They said that this Sony IMX661 image sensor device will help to solve many problems of complex challenges when this device will use in industrial equipment cameras. While this was expected that the shipping of the Sony IMX661 device will starts from April 2021.
And the available color was Black and White.
The Sony IMX661company claims that the device has contains.
The 127.68-megapixel image sensor is capable of delivering 21.8fps in 10-bit shooting.
As well as the image readout speed was four times faster.
In comparison to the Sony IMX253 1.1-type, 12-megapixel CMOS image sensor. The device has contains 56.73mm and a pixel size of 3.45μm as its diagonal optical size. While the Sony company says that the Sony IMX661 has been equipped with a variety of signal processing capabilities.
Required for industrial equipment such as trigger synchronization for controlling imaging timing.
Multi-exposure for detecting the trajectory of moving objects.
Ae well as the short exposure time for blur-free imaging of objects moving at high speeds.
And pixel binning readout to enhance sensitivity in low light situations. The new Sony IMX661 127.68-megapixel image sensor is capable of delivering 21.8fps in a 10-bit shooting.
