There was a new device launched by the Samsung Company, as the company tries to enhance their product line and their series. While the newly launched device was Samsung 980 NVMe M.2 SSD as this was the first DRAM-fewer device which was offered by the South Korean tech giant. This device replaces the 970 EVO NVMe M.2 SSD. Samsung 980 NVMe M.2 SSD Launched. The price of the device was comparatively low, this was due to the DRAM-less design of the storage drive.

The price of the Samsung 980 NVMe M.2 SSD go up to Rs. 16,999.


Samsung Company announced that the 980 NVMe M.2 SSD has come with a starting price of Rs. 6,499 for the 250GB variant, Rs. 8,999 for the 500GB model as well as the customers have to pay an amount of Rs. 16,999 for the 1TB variant. The customers will buy the 980 NVMe M.2 SSD devices from the online stores as well as from the offline platforms also.

This includes the official Samsung website. As well as we want to inform you guys that the Samsung Company hasn’t announced a release date for the device yet.


Samsung 980 NVMe M.2 SSD has come with a feature of DRAM-less hardware. We want to clear that the DRAM (Dynamic Random Access Memory) is used as an SSD for mapping the contents. As well as the device offers a high speed of write and read of up to  3,500MBps and 3,000MBps.

While the reading and writing performance is rated much high as of 500K IOPS and 480K IOPS respectively. The Samsung 980 NVMe M.2 SSD can store and utilize graphics-intensive games or heavy files which run on the Full Power Mode. This device has come with many updated featurs.
